Take off over native forest, lakes and rivers towards awe-inspiring and sacred Mount Tarawera. View the massive rift in the mountain caused by its violent eruption in 1886 - an eruption that buried whole villages and destroyed the 8th wonder of the world. We continue our journey south, heading for 'the hidden valley' - the mystical Orakei Korako geothermal reserve. Explore this geothermal wonder (with its boiling mud pools, steaming lakes and leaping geysers) at your leisure. This package also includes a short, scenic boat transfer to the Orakei Korako ('the hidden valley'). On our return, we fly over the city of Rotorua and the sparkling lakes that give it its name.
A minimum of 2 persons per flight, Children under 4 years old are free of charge when accompanied by one Adult per Child.
