The Ohiwa harbour, A local jewel located in the southern half of Ohope. Ohiwa Harbour lies between Whakatāne and Ōpōtiki, covering an area of around 26 square kilometres. The habour is dotted with islands and is a significant natural, cultural and recreational resource. Its entrance is located at the eastern end of the Ōhope spit.

Opotiki is the gateway to the East Cape and only 44km from Whakatane. The township of Opotiki is situated on a harbour inlet formed by the junction of two rivers. Bounded by these rivers on three sides, the Opotiki township comprises 309 hectares and the Opotiki District which extends from Ohiwa to Cape Runaway.

Moutohorā (Whale Island) is one of the country's most protected wildlife sanctuaries because it is home to some of our most endangered plant, bird and reptile species. Moutohora is a small uninhabited island located off the Bay of Plenty coast, about 9 kilometres north of Whakatane. The 1.43 km² island is a remnant of a complex volcano which has eroded, leaving two peaks.

We are based in the heart of Whakatane, New Zealand a stunning coastal town blessed with breath-taking landscapes, rich culture and plenty of sunshine.

Luke our pilot has excellent flying skills, fulfilling several pilot roles throughout his career born and bred Opotiki Man, Luke’s knowledge of the Eastern bay Rohe (area) is reputable.

In the off-season Luke’s qualified building skills adds unique convenience for remote Building Projects.

When we're not in the sky we enjoy taking our family caravan around the country exploring the coasts and making epic memories with our brood of kids.
